  • Seth Rollins ruined his current storyline in WWE by doing one specific thing, according to veteran (Exclusive)

Seth Rollins picked a massive win against Bronson Reed in an incredible match at WWE Crown Jewel 2024. The veteran delivered three stomps to his opponent, including one from the top rope, to take the star down for the three count. However, soon after, Reed was seen standing tall, leaving a massive impression on the WWE Universe.

On WWE RAW after Crown Jewel, The Visionary was part of a Fatal Four-Way match to determine the new number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. While Rollins looked strong throughout, Bronson Reedinterfered and sent Rollins through the table delivering a Tsunami.

During the latest episode of The Coach and Bro Show on Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass, wrestling veteran and former WWE head writer Vince Russo slammed Rollins for ruining his storyline with Reed. The analyst stated that hours after a grueling battle against the ‘monster’, Rollins should have sold the effects of the match on RAW, rather than entering with his dance.

“Seth Rollins has an all-out war with Bronson Reed. They killed each other. Corey Graves is telling me 15 times, ‘Seth Rollins is not a 100%, he should not be performing tonight’. After the war, so he’s doing what he should be doing. What does Rollins do? They hit his music and here he comes dancing and singing. Are you that clueless? Then throughout the entire match, the announcers are trying to sell that…Seth Rollins not selling takes all that away,” stated Russo. (38:05 onwards)

The Seth Rollins-Bronson Reed saga will likely intensify following the latter’s vicious assault on WWE RAW. Another match between both men is clearly on the horizon. Time will tell what WWE has in store for both Rollins and Reed on RAW.

  • 41-year-old WWE veteran to return after two years to rescue The Miz from Uncle Howdy? Analyzing the possibility

Uncle Howdy abducted The Miz and delivered a cryptic promo on this week’s RAW. During the segment, Bo Dallas revealed the reason behind targeting The A-Lister, citing Miz’s previous behavior toward him during their alliance as part of The Miztourage. Following these events, it’s possible that Maryse could return after a two-year absence to rescue her husband from the clutches of The Wyatt Sicks.

Maryse’s last in-ring appearance was at Royal Rumble 2022, where she teamed with The Miz to face former WWE stars Edge and Beth Phoenix. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to beat The Rated-R Superstar and Beth. Now, with the former Intercontinental Champion in need of help once again, a return for Maryse seems like a realistic possibility.

The 41-year-old star could locate The Wyatt Sicks’ hideout and rescue her husband. This angle would allow WWE to reintegrate Maryse into the storyline, bringing her back to television. Given that The Wyatt Sicks includes a female member in Nikki Cross, fans could see Maryse stand against Cross to protect her husband if the faction attempts another abduction.

Overall, it will be intriguing to see how this narrative unfolds in the coming weeks and whether Maryse will step in to save The Miz from Uncle Howdy’s clutches.

What consequence The Miz might face if no one rescues him from Uncle Howdy’s clutches?

Not only Maryse but The Final Testament might also attempt to rescue The A-Lister from Uncle Howdy’s clutches, as they are already engaged in a rivalry with the horror faction. However, if no one comes to Miz’s aid and he remains trapped, WWE could use this to write the 44-year-old star off television.

Upon his return, the company could either reintroduce him as a babyface or take his character in a completely different direction. Alternatively, The Wyatt Sicks might release Miz under the condition that he refrains from his past misdeeds, warning that any further poor behavior would result in similar punishment.

Another possible outcome is that Uncle Howdy could set Miz free on the condition that he monitors the activities of The Final Testament. Given that Karrion Kross has already warned Miz to align with them in this ongoing battle, Howdy might leverage this, demanding Miz spy on The Final Testament’s plans against the faction.

Ultimately, we’ll have to wait for the upcoming episodes of Monday Night RAW to see how this storyline unfolds, as The Miz remains firmly in Uncle Howdy’s grasp.

  • Paul Heyman sends a three-word message ahead of confirmed upcoming appearance

Paul Heyman remains one of the biggest names in WWE despite not having appeared on TV for more than four months. Now, The Wiseman has sent a message ahead of his confirmed appearance, albeit outside the Stamford-based promotion.

The Bloodline Saga has been moving along at a frantic pace in recent weeks. The original version of the stable has gotten back together with Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso joining hands again. Sami Zayn is also all but confirmed to have reunited with his former Bloodline stablemates, though his rumored meeting with Reigns on this week’s SmackDown could give a clear picture of the road ahead.

However, one person who has been missing from all this is Paul Heyman. The Wiseman was taken out by Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline stablemates for refusing to acknowledge the 31-year-old star as his Tribal Chief. Since then, he has been away from WWE programming and has given little update on when he will be back.

However, Heyman has kept himself busy outside the Stamford-based promotion. He is gearing up to appear at the Big Event EXS in New York City on November 9, 2024. He recently took to his Instagram stories to share his excitement regarding it.

Check out a screengrab of Heyman’s Instagram story below:

Vince Russo says WWE should have never pulled Paul Heyman from TV

While speaking on a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW podcast, former WWE head writer Vince Russo mentioned the company’s decision to have Paul Heyman removed from TV while The Bloodline Saga continues to heat up. Russo explained that the Stamford-based promotion could have had The Wiseman as Solo Sikoa’s mouthpiece in his ongoing warfare with Roman Reigns:

“They dropped the ball on that dude. He should’ve been bulletproof until Roman Reigns came back. Regardless, why didn’t they keep Heyman around and let him go with Sikoa to really build Sikoa. They could have let Heyman do the talking, he could have still been in that Enforcer role. Wouldn’t that have been more valuable than sitting Heyman home for 3 months?”

With the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 Premium Live Event rumored to feature a Men’s WarGames Match pitting the old and new versions of The Bloodline against each other, it remains to be seen if Heyman returns in time for the upcoming event.

  • “There are more lawsuits coming” – WWE veteran slams TKO executive for revealing he met Vince McMahon

While Vince McMahon has been absent from WWE for quite a while now, he has been a part of a plethora of headlines around the world lately. In a recent appearance on CNBC, TKO President Mark Shapiro surprised the world after detailing a breakfast meeting with the 79-year-old.

Shapiro revealed that he had sat down with McMahon recently, for the first time since the latter’s Netflix docuseries was released, and stated that McMahon was a ‘total pro.’ The TKO President added that Vince was no longer part of the company but was still a minor shareholder.

In a recent episode of The Coach and Bro Show on Backstage Pass, wrestling veteran Vince Russo slammed the TKO Executive for revealing the details of his meet on international television. The veteran claimed that more lawsuits were coming on Vince McMahon, and namedropping him now was undoubtedly a bad decision.

“That absolutely shocks me, Coach. What is he name-dropping, like what is the point? And if he did, what is the point in talking about it? […] That makes no sense to me. We all know there are more lawsuits coming down the road. We know it’s going to happen. I don’t know why anybody would broadcast an association with Vince McMahon. There’s nothing positive that’s gonna come out of that,” stated Vince Russo. [16:13 onward]

While Vince McMahonhas shares in the company, it is clear that the former WWE CEO has not been involved lately. The 79-year-old has faced several allegations and lawsuits lately, and time will tell what conclusions can be drawn from the controversies in the future.

  • “Pay me some money” – WWE veteran has demand for Vince McMahon; jokingly says what he wants (Exclusive)

A WWE veteran recently stated that he would be filing a lawsuit against Vince McMahon. That would be Dutch Mantell. The statement was quite obviously in jest, in light of another lawsuit recently filed against Mr. McMahon.

Vince McMahon was slapped with another lawsuit recently, which also named Linda McMahon and TKO Group Holdings. Pertaining to the infamous Ring Boys scandal, the lawsuit accuses the defendants of willfully choosing to ignore the alleged sexual misconduct the ‘Ring Boys’ crew was facing.

While speaking about the matter on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Smack Talk podcast, former WWE manager Dutch Mantell jokingly stated that he would also file a lawsuit to get a settlement cheque:

“Very few people know this. That thinking back on it now, you know, I was a part of that ring boy crew too. And I am gonna to file my paper soon (chuckles). Pay me some money and I’ll just go away. Vince, hey, like I say, where there’s smoke, there’s fire. And this is too much of this happening, and people knew about it then, and it’s just popping up over and over and over again.” [5:45 – 6:15]

You can watch the podcast below:

WWE veteran Dutch Mantell thinks the lawsuit is intended to end in a settlement

According to WWE veteran Dutch Mantell, the plaintiff apparently does not think the case will make it to court.

While speaking on the same episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Smack Talk podcast, Dutch shared his opinion about the new lawsuit against Vince McMahon:

“I think what they are looking for is a settlement out of court. See what they can get there. But, that is so old. And I don’t know where it’s going… I am gonna have to sit back and withhold judgment on that because I don’t know the details on it. It’s just an old, old happening.” [2:03 onwards]

As of now, it remains to be seen what is next for the former CEO of WWE down the line.

  • Johnny Gargano comments on him and Tommaso Ciampa possibly splitting up and feuding with each other

Johnny Gargano has addressed the possibility of him and Tommaso Ciampa splitting up and feuding with each other again. The two WWE stars had multiple matches with each other as friends and foes during their time in NXT.

DIY held the NXT Tag Team Championship when they were on the black and silver brand and captured the WWE Tag Team Championship several months ago on SmackDown. Gargano and Ciampa have turned on each other in the past, and betrayals have been the basis for many storylines wrestling storylines over the years.

During a recent interview with Gorilla Position, Johnny Wrestling was asked whether WWE fans can expect to see him versus Tommaso Ciampa on the main roster. His response was that they get along very well and that things were different compared to before.

“Everyone always asks that; I think it’s always going to be the question that’s asked of me and Tommaso whenever we’re teamed up or against each other—when is that going to happen again? As of right now, speaking in current day, me and Tommaso get along very well, and I don’t want to say maybe we’re in a different part of our life. We’re both dads now, so maybe things are a little bit different for us,” said Gargano.

He added that they were excited about the tag team division.

“But I will say we are incredibly excited about the tag team division, incredibly excited about what the future holds for that, incredibly excited about what the future holds for DIY, and I will always say you never know what can happen in the future. Obviously, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, together or against each other, people want to see it, which is a good thing.” (1:50-2:30)

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa held the WWE Tag Team Championship for less than a month

At NXT TakeOver: Toronto in 2016, DIY dethroned FTR (The Revival) to win the NXT Tag Team Title. Their run lasted 70 days, as they lost to The Authors of Pain in 2017. Fast forward to July this year, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa ended A-Town Down Under’s reign on an episode of SmackDown in July to win the WWE Tag Team Championship.

However, DIY were only champs for 28 days, as they were defeated by The Bloodline. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa took on The Motor City Machine Guns in a number one contender’s match for the titles two weeks ago on the blue brand, but they lost. MCMG became champions just a few moments later.

  • Tiffany Stratton speaks on a new WWE “Netflix Championship” in the company; what it would mean

Tiffany Stratton has spoken about introducing a new title in WWE called the Netflix Championship once the company starts its deal with the streaming giant in January. The star thinks it’s a great idea.

Gorilla Position interviewed Tiffany Stratton about a mid-card championship for the women on the main roster. The star thought it would be a great idea and that there were more than enough women on the main roster to make it a chance worth taking.

Tiffany Stratton added that the title “Netflix Championship” made a lot of sense, given WWE’s long-term deal with the company, and that introducing such a belt would be a great idea.

“I think it would be a great idea because I know NXT has one, actually. They have so many women down there in NXT, and we have so many women on the main roster right now. I think it would be a great idea to introduce a mid-card title. A Netflix Championship? I think that would be amazing! What a great idea,” Stratton said. [8:18 – 8:35]

While she was also talking about her plans for the Money in the Bank briefcase, Tiffany Stratton seemed interested in the possibility of such a title. Ultimately, it would be Triple H who would have to make decisions about such a title.

Tiffany Stratton will have to answer to Nia Jax on WWE SmackDown

While Stratton has kept hinting that she’s more than ready to cash in the briefcase, the star has also continued her alliance with Nia Jax.

At Crown Jewel, her interference distracted Jax, and maybe that was what eventually cost her the match.

Nia Jax is sure to be unhappy about it. It remains to be seen what happens when the two stars finally talk about it on SmackDown and whether they come to any decisions about their alliance and the future.

  • Roman Reigns to kick Jey Uso out of the OG Bloodline due to one major reason on SmackDown? Potential twist explored

Roman Reigns and The Bloodline are set to make an appearance in tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown. The OG Bloodline is expected to engage in a segment with Sami Zayn, as Jey Uso invited the former Bloodline member for a family discussion. However, the 40-year-old star has yet to confirm his appearance, but he will likely show up to have the conversation.

This segment could also lead to a potential twist, with the Original Tribal Chief kicking The YEET Master out of the faction. The main reason behind this unexpected move could stem from Jey Uso prioritizing Sami Zayn and siding with him during this family discussion on Friday Nights.

Jimmy Uso has already confirmed on RAW that neither he nor Roman want to see Sami and are unhappy with his actions at Crown Jewel. This shows that the OTC is frustrated and may not want to hear any justification from Zayn, especially regarding his actions against Roman at the Saudi Arabia event. However, if Jey emphasizes or pressures The Head of the Table to hear Sami’s side, this could lead to the OTC kicking Jey Uso out of the faction.

The rationale behind kicking The YEET Master of OG Bloodline is that if he can’t stand with the family, there’s no need for a reunion. Since Sami’s reintroduction into The Bloodline saga, Jey has had a soft spot for Zayn, as they formed a strong bond on the red brand.

However, this bond could certainly bring heat to the upcoming SmackDown, as Jey sides with Sami Zayn and justifies his actions at Crown Jewel. Fans will have to wait and see what WWE has in store on tonight’s episode of SmackDown and whether Sami Zayn will emerge for the family discussion.

Roman Reigns could soon introduce a new Bloodline member

The Bloodline saga has continued to inflate over the past few months, and it is envisioned to grow even further in the coming time. With this, Roman Reigns could soon introduce a new member to his faction in the form of Lance Anoa’i.

Recent reports have suggested that Lance has already signed with the Stamford-based promotion but has yet to debut due to injury. This explains why, despite potentially being signed, he has not yet appeared on television.

If the news is true and Lance recovers, he might be introduced as the newest member of Roman Reigns’ faction.

Roman Reigns already has a history with Lance, having once rescued him on RAW from an attack by Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon. With this history in mind, it seems more likely that if the 32-year-old star is introduced into the Bloodline saga, he will side with Roman Reigns rather than Solo Sikoa.

  • Naomi, Liv Morgan, Zelina Vega, & others react after Nia Jax makes an emotional post before WWE SmackDown

Nia Jax had her hands full over the weekend facing Liv Morgan at WWE Crown Jewel. Now, she has made an emotional post before SmackDown and multiple WWE stars have reacted to it.

At Crown Jewel, WWE Women’s Champion Jax faced a huge challenge of her own. She had to defeat Liv Morgan where the latter had help from Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio, all the while keeping an eye on her own apparent ally Tiffany Stratton, to make sure she didn’t cash in her MITB briefcase on her.

In the end, it proved to be too much and the star lost the match and the chance to become the Women’s Crown Jewel Champion.

Following the match on the weekend, Nia Jax had a full week, competing in the United Kingdom tour and even wrestling in a steel cage match against Bayley over the four nights. In an update, the star talked about the non-stop travel schedule, how she had gone from Riyadh to Dublin to London to Nottingham to Sheffield, and now to Buffalo, New York. She said that in that she had wrestled her first-ever steel cage match.

She was emotional and called herself blessed, even though this schedule meant that she didn’t get any sleep.

“Travel: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Dublin, Ireland London, UK Nottingham, UK Sheffield, UK Buffalo, NY First ever steel cage match for me. No sleep. Blessed ”

Other WWE stars reacted to this as well, showing their support for her in the comments. Naomi stuck to her character saying that she was greater than Jax, but still showed her appreciation. Zelina Vega also commented, calling her “ART,” while even her Crown Jewel opponent, Liv Morgan, liked the post, showing her support for her.

Nia Jax will have to deal with her loss to Liv Morgan on WWE SmackDown

While Tiffany Stratton’s presence certainly didn’t directly contribute to Nia Jax’s loss to Liv Morgan, it certainly didn’t help.

On SmackDown, fans will have to wait and see where the alliance is going, and whether it can even survive what happened on Crown Jewel when Stratton’s interference distracted Jax.

The Buff Barbie will look for every opportunity to become the new WWE Women’s Champion but would probably like to keep her friendship with Jax ongoing. This leaves Stratton with an avenue to launch a surprise attack and cash in her briefcase when she wants to.

The story between Stratton and Jax is likely to take a few more twists and turns before the final cash-in eventually happens.

  • Tiffany Stratton sets possible date for Money in the Bank cash-in; could become WWE champion suddenly

Tiffany Stratton has been in focus ever since she won the Money in the Bank briefcase that gives her a WWE contract to cash in on any championship of her choosing. Now, the star has set an apparent date for it.

Stratton has been using her briefcase to come out and try and cash in at every opportunity. So far, she has been stopped from doing so several times by her own ally, Nia Jax. The star has also apparently come close to cashing it in on Jax herself.

Speaking to Gorilla Position in a recent interview, Tiffany Stratton was asked whom she would want to face on the RAW premiere on Netflix. She said that when the time came to cash in the briefcase, she may be ready to cash it in there. This would be on the January 6 edition of WWE RAW.

“I don’t know, maybe I’ll cash in there. Maybe I won’t have a match. Maybe I’ll just cash in and become the champion on the premiere.” (8:56 – 9:01)

The star was then asked whom she would cash it in on, and whether it would be Liv Morgan or Nia Jax.

“You’ll have to wait and see, what did I just say.” (9:05 – 9:09)

Tiffany Stratton has her own goals in WWE

Earlier in the same video, Tiffany Stratton said that she wanted to keep the cash in a surprise. She also refused to answer whether she would cash it in on Nia Jax.

The star was adamant about keeping it a surprise and said that it was also going to be epic. However, soon after, as reported above, she seemed to decide that the Netflix premiere might be the perfect day.

“It’s going to be a surprise, and it’s going to be epic.”

The star has to decide what she’s going to do, and it seems that she has a plan in her mind already. With that being the case, she may be a champion sooner than later with the briefcase in her hands.
