GUNTHER, the World Heavyweight Champion, opens the show. In the ring, Jackie Redmond waits for him for an interview. She shows footage from backstage last week, where Damian Priest managed to defend himself from the champion’s attack. The Austrian maintains a serious expression while fans boo him. When Redmond questions if he’s no longer the dominant wrestler he once was, as Priest claims, the Puerto Rican interrupts the interview.

Priest taunts GUNTHER, demanding him to answer the question, but the Austrian remains silent. Priest enters the ring. As Redmond tries to leave, he asks her to hand the microphone to the champion, waiting to see if he has the courage to speak.

Alone in the ring, Priest states that GUNTHER’s condition is due to never having dealt with a problem like him. “And at Survivor Series, this problem will take your title,” Priest declares. The Puerto Rican questions what the champion will think when he loses his belt to a man from the streets.

GUNTHER stares down Priest, ready to respond. However, just when it seems he’s about to leave the ring… GUNTHER attacks Priest with the microphone to the head. The Austrian unleashes a series of attacks against his rival, taking him outside the ring. GUNTHER clears the announce table before going back to grab Priest. But Priest manages to turn the tables, throwing GUNTHER into one of the ring posts before delivering a Razor’s Edge through the table, destroying it. Priest raises the championship belt before heading backstage.

Naomi approaches Bianca Belair backstage. Belair mentions that Jade Cargill is still injured, but they don’t know who attacked her. Naomi reminds her they need a replacement for WarGames. IYO SKY appears and suggests Bayley as a substitute. Belair opposes the idea, sparking an argument.

Rhea Ripley steps in, stating that any woman will do, as long as she helps destroy Liv Morgan’s team. Belair confronts Ripley, mocking her leadership. Belair says she needs to deal with Nia Jax tonight, so she leaves them with the responsibility of choosing the fifth teammate. Belair walks away, ending the segment.

Tornado Tag Team Match: LWO (Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee) vs. The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed)
    – Julius catches Mysterio with a Roll-Up for the win.

The Judgment Day talks backstage. R-Truth appears, saying he’s looking for a place to hide from “Butch.” Finn Bálor threatens him, forcing him to leave. Carlito questions the Irishman if he’s going to let him get away.

Bálor turns to his teammates, stating that this week they will win. Bálor adds that under his leadership, they are a more united and successful family.

Singles Match: WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker vs. Ludwig Kaiser
    – Kaiser wins via DQ after being attacked by Sheamus.

Breakker confronts Sheamus about the interference. Several officials arrive to prevent a fight. Kaiser recovers to join the argument. More and more security guards appear to separate the three men.

An angry Adam Pearce appears, breaking up a fight between Sheamus, Breakker, and Kaiser. The RAW General Manager grants their wish by announcing that all three will face each other in a Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series with the WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews The Usos and Sami Zayn. Zayn acknowledges they’re surprised by CM Punk’s return to join their team at WarGames. The Canadian announces that Punk and Roman Reigns will discuss the PLE next Friday. Jey Uso announces he’ll face Jacob Fatu in a match to determine the advantage at WarGames. Jey promises to kick Fatu’s ass and declares that one day later, they’ll finish The Bloodline. The Usos and Zayn leave, ending the interview.

World Tag Team Championship Match: Judgment Day (Finn Bálor & JD McDonagh) (c) vs. War Raiders (Erik & Ivar)
    – With Bálor’s assistance, McDonagh scores an illegal pinfall on Ivar to win the match.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods smile while watching a teaser video about their tenth anniversary, which will take place next week. Woods expresses regret about the problems they’ve had in recent weeks. Kingston says that doesn’t matter now, adding that tonight they should go out there and remind everyone who The New Day is. The former tag team champions head to the ring to receive the fans’ ovation.

Tag Team Match: New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. Alpha Academy (Otis & Akira Tozawa)
    – Tozawa hits a Big Senton on Kingston, followed by a pinfall.

Kingston and Woods argue heatedly as they head backstage. Woods reminds him that he’s the leader. Kingston doesn’t understand why the change happened. Kingston recalls that he did everything for him. Kingston reveals that he and Big E never wanted to let Woods lead because they knew he always takes risks. Woods reminds him that he became champion thanks to him and that all the risks he took were to help him. Kingston responds that, unlike him and Big E, Woods was never champion, and that’s because he’s not good enough. Woods brings up how Kingston threw away his world title reign by losing to Brock Lesnar in six seconds. They stare each other down, setting a meeting for next week at the tenth anniversary reunion.

The Miz approaches Karrion Kross to inform him about the Wyatt Sicks. Kross asks if they saw them. Miz responds no. Kross says they’ll go after them using the element of surprise. Kross asks Scarlett to stay in the locker room. Miz and Kross leave. Scarlett turns to wash her hands. Suddenly, she notices Nikki Cross’s presence behind her. The screen fades to black.

Judgment Day and The Miz continue searching for the Wyatt Sicks. Along the way, they encounter Pete Dunne, who’s looking for R-Truth. Kross and Miz return to the locker room, where they find Scarlett lying on the floor. She reacts by attacking Kross, who tries to calm her down. Scarlett reveals she was attacked by Cross.

We see a video recorded earlier tonight. In it, Adam Pearce presents the new Women’s Intercontinental Championship. The General Manager announces a tournament to determine the first champion in history, which will begin next week.

Nia Jax talks with her WarGames teammates backstage. The Irresistible Force points out that their opponents are one wrestler short after what happened to Jade Cargill. Jax says she’ll destroy Bianca Belair tonight to further increase her team’s numerical advantage.

Solo Sikoa cuts a promo backstage. Sikoa acknowledges that Paul Heyman’s return and CM Punk’s addition was a big move for the OG Bloodline, but nothing has changed. This Friday, Jacob Fatu will finish Jey Uso, and they’ll meet again at Survivor Series.

Women’s WarGames Advantage Match: WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair
    – In progress…

    End of show.

  • Triple H changed plans for WWE Survivor Series 2024 last minute?

Last week’s SmackDown delivered a shocking moment when Paul Heyman introduced CM Punk as the fifth member of the OG Bloodline team for Survivor Series: WarGames. The announcement caught fans off guard, as Seth Rollins was widely expected to join Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn against The Bloodline and Bronson Reed on November 30.

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo commented on Triple H’s decision during his BroDown podcast on Backstage Pass. Russo suggested the creative change came after he criticized the potential inclusion of Rollins in the team.

“I guarantee you that Triple H read my tweet. So, what do they do? At the last minute, oh it’s CM Punk, which makes absolutely no sense. There’s no story,” Russo stated. “This was done just for a pop. It makes no sense in the storyline, whatsoever. This company works on pops.”

The decision marks Punk’s first WWE storyline since the Bad Blood Premium Live Event. While the reasoning behind Triple H’s choice remains unclear, reports indicate this could ignite a rivalry between Punk and Rollins, who had previously turned down multiple offers to join the OG Bloodline due to his issues with Roman Reigns.

Triple H could announce surprise title match at Survivor Series

Another potential surprise might be brewing for Survivor Series: WarGames, as Triple H could announce a Falls Count Anywhere match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

The tension between Rhodes and Owens escalated on SmackDown last week during a heated exchange. Owens showed no remorse for his recent actions, including injuring Randy Orton, and instead blamed Rhodes for the situation. When Rhodes challenged him to a match at either Survivor Series or Saturday Night’s Main Event, Owens dismissed the challenge, stating it would happen on his terms.

Following this confrontation, Rhodes had another altercation with former NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes. The two are scheduled to face each other on this week’s SmackDown, where Owens might interfere, potentially leading to an impromptu title match announcement at Survivor Series.

  • Adam Pearce shares emotional tribute to Bray Wyatt ahead of WWE RAW

WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a heartfelt message accompanied by throwback photos with the late Bray Wyatt. The post emphasized the importance of living in the moment and cherishing time with loved ones.

Wyatt’s impact continues to resonate throughout WWE, with the current stable The Wyatt Sicks serving as a tribute to his legacy. The former Universal Champion was at the height of his career when his untimely passing deeply affected the wrestling community.

In a recent interview, Bo Dallas, who portrays Uncle Howdy in The Wyatt Sicks, revealed that WWE initially opposed pairing him with his brother Bray. “If we were coming back, we were gonna come back as a team. So initially that was the idea, and then we started talking to the company, and some things happened,” Dallas explained. Despite this earlier decision, Dallas has received praise for his portrayal of Uncle Howdy in The Wyatt Sicks.

AEW’s Peter Avalon defends fantasy elements in wrestling

AEW star Peter Avalon recently addressed criticism of supernatural wrestling characters like The Wyatt Sicks during an appearance on the “Power and Glory” podcast. Avalon defended the role of fantasy in professional wrestling, arguing that the sport itself exists in a realm of fantasy.

“Wrestling is fantasy in itself,” Avalon stated, supporting the coexistence of realistic and fantastical elements within wrestling shows. He praised Wyatt’s final WWE run, noting how the late performer created his own unique universe within WWE’s broader world.

“I love it when it’s complete bulls**t, I love it, I loved Undertaker being magic, you know, I loved Kane being able to control Hellfire,” Avalon added, emphasizing that wrestling’s appeal often lies in its ability to blend entertainment with fantasy elements.

  • WATCH: Paul Heyman abandoned Roman Reigns after WWE SmackDown went off air

Roman Reigns appears to have been caught off guard by Paul Heyman’s actions on SmackDown last week. The Wiseman made an unexpected return to introduce CM Punk as the fifth member of Reigns’ Survivor Series: WarGames team, a decision made without consulting The Original Tribal Chief.

The tension became apparent after SmackDown went off the air. Heyman embraced The Usos but left with Punk, notably avoiding any interaction with Reigns. The former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion’s displeasure was evident as he headed backstage.

The situation raises questions about Heyman’s loyalty. Reigns’ surprised expression during Heyman’s entrance suggested he had no prior knowledge of The Wiseman’s return or his plans to recruit Punk. This unexpected development calls for an urgent conversation between Reigns and Heyman before Survivor Series to address these loyalty concerns.

Reports suggest Roman Reigns to feature heavily on Netflix’s RAW in 2025

A new direction might be in store for Roman Reigns in 2025. According to WrestleVotes Radio on Sportskeeda Backstage Pass, The Original Tribal Chief is expected to appear more frequently on RAW when the show moves to Netflix next January.

“We are told the plans as of now, we’ll see Roman Reigns featured on Monday Night Raw and Netflix more so than SmackDown for at least the beginning part of the calendar year,” the report states. While no official roster move has been confirmed, Netflix recognizes Reigns’ star power and viewership appeal.

The streaming platform is reportedly enthusiastic about featuring Reigns throughout the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania season, marking a significant shift from his previous SmackDown-focused schedule.

  • Seth Rollins could spark major twist at Survivor Series: WarGames

Seth Rollins might dramatically alter the course of the Men’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series despite not being scheduled for the event. The Visionary’s potential actions on tonight’s RAW could set the stage for The Rock’s return.

With CM Punk joining the OG Bloodline to face Solo Sikoa’s team and Bronson Reed on November 30, Rollins might seek revenge against Reed following last week’s defeat. A possible backstage attack could leave Reed injured, forcing RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to remove him from the WarGames Match.

This scenario could create an opening for The Final Boss to make a surprising return in Vancouver as Reed’s replacement on Sikoa’s team. Such a development would add an unexpected dimension to the already heated conflict between the two Bloodline factions.

Netflix builds excitement for WWE RAW debut with new promotional video

Netflix has released a new promotional video titled “NETFLIX GETS RAW” ahead of RAW’s streaming debut in January 2025. The video showcases WWE stars including The Rock, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Liv Morgan, and Rhea Ripley.

The premiere episode will take place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on January 6, with tickets going on sale this Friday. While no matches have been announced, the show is expected to feature major stars and special guests, including Travis Scott.

WWE’s premier live events and content library will remain on Peacock for domestic viewers, while international audiences can access these events through Netflix starting January 2025.

  • Nick Aldis sparks speculation with Triple H photo

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has fueled speculation about his future role in WWE after sharing a photo with Triple H from the February 9 SmackDown episode in Charlotte. The image, posted on Instagram, shows both men in the ring during the episode where Triple H addressed the WrestleMania XL Kickoff controversy.

Aldis, who joined WWE in August 2023 as a producer before being promoted to SmackDown GM, included several hashtags with the post: “#hhh #tripleh #paullevesque #nickaldis #wwe #smackdown #usanetwork.”

The timing of this post comes amid rumors of a potential GM versus GM match between Aldis and RAW General Manager Adam Pearce. Both former NWA World Heavyweight Champions followed similar paths to their current roles, with Pearce starting as a WWE official in January 2020 before his promotion to RAW GM.

Nick Aldis discusses transition from wrestler to authority figure

During a recent appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Aldis reflected on his journey from in-ring competitor to authority figure. The former NWA and TNA World Champion noted the distinct difference between WWE and independent wrestling audiences, particularly regarding recognition of his wrestling background.

“I see it more as a sort of maybe not a full-time wrestler, but I don’t know,” Aldis explained. “If and when the time comes it’ll be what they want, and it will hopefully be the right time. I just told them that if you want to do that, I’m ready.”

Aldis also revealed an unplanned moment from his early GM tenure, when Randy Orton unexpectedly delivered an RKO to him after signing with SmackDown. “I’ve never gotten to the bottom of who was behind it,” Aldis admitted, highlighting his readiness to adapt to unexpected physical moments in his role.

  • Liv Morgan returning to WWE NXT to confront top star?

WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has shared her openness to returning to NXT, following in the footsteps of main roster stars like Becky Lynch, Baron Corbin, and Cedric Alexander who have made appearances on the developmental brand.

Speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show Podcast, Morgan expressed enthusiasm about the possibility of working with NXT’s rising stars. “I’m excited for it all, really. If they ever wanted to call me, I’d make myself available,” Morgan said, specifically mentioning interest in matches with Giulia and Roxanne Perez.

The champion praised NXT’s women’s division, highlighting its role in securing the future of women’s wrestling. “I think top to bottom their division is so incredible. How lucky are we that we are secure for the next generation of women’s wrestling,” she added, mentioning talents like Thea Hail, Lola Vice, Tatum Paxley, and others.

Morgan discusses Rodriguez and Mysterio’s unique dynamic

In a recent interview with Ringside Collectibles, Morgan opened up about the relationship between Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio following Rodriguez’s return at Bad Blood 2024, where she helped Morgan retain her championship against Rhea Ripley.

“Raquel is my sister, my best friend, my protector, my tag team partner. Dominik is the love of my life,” Morgan explained. She emphasized the wholesome nature of Rodriguez and Mysterio’s relationship, describing it as a sibling-like bond. “They’re so cute together in a very wholesome brother-sister way. Not in any weird love triangle way. Dominik is mine. Raquel is mine. Different versions of mine, but both mine nonetheless.”

  • Nia Jax accuses top star of attacking Jade Cargill

Nia Jax pointed fingers at Naomi as the culprit behind Jade Cargill’s recent attack on SmackDown. The accusation came after WWE announced Cargill would not compete in the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames event due to injuries.

Naomi took to X to address fans speculating about her involvement in the incident. The former champion stated she expected apologies from those accusing her once her name was cleared.

The response prompted Nia Jax to make a direct accusation on social media. “We all know you did it!” Jax wrote, escalating tensions between the performers.

Attack leaves Women’s Tag Team division in uncertainty

The incident has created ripples throughout WWE’s women’s division. Cargill was discovered unconscious on a car hood backstage during SmackDown, with WWE reporting she sustained multiple internal injuries.

The attack puts the Women’s Tag Team Championship in a precarious position. Cargill and Bianca Belair currently hold the titles, but WWE announced The Storm will be sidelined indefinitely. This development suggests the champions might need to forfeit their titles after Survivor Series.

Internal sources indicate Cargill might be dealing with a legitimate injury, with the attack angle potentially serving as a narrative device to explain her absence during recovery. The situation could see Belair return to singles competition while pursuing answers about her partner’s attacker.

  • New Bloodline 2.0 member mocks Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins after recent attacks

Bronson Reed shared a defiant message after taking down both Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in consecutive weeks. The RAW Superstar posted photos on Instagram showcasing his dominance over the former Shield members.

Reed’s assault began last week on SmackDown when he aligned with Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline to attack Reigns. He followed up on RAW by defeating Rollins with assistance from Sikoa’s faction. As the fifth member of Solo’s WarGames team, Reed took to social media to boast about his actions.

“Turn they tv off. #WWE,” Reed wrote alongside images of both Reigns and Rollins laid out on the mat, suggesting fans couldn’t handle watching their favorites fall.

CM Punk joins forces with Roman Reigns for WarGames

The OG Bloodline found their fifth member for Survivor Series: WarGames after Paul Heyman orchestrated CM Punk’s return to the fold. Despite initial tension during their face-to-face confrontation, Punk revealed he accepted the spot as a favor to the Wiseman.

Following SmackDown’s conclusion, Reigns and Punk stood united, with the Tribal Chief later endorsing the alliance by sharing WWE’s updated Survivor Series poster on Instagram. The partnership emerged after Seth Rollins declined to join the team, citing unresolved issues with Reigns.

The upcoming match marks Punk’s first in-ring appearance since his victory over Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood.

  • WWE’s Cathy Kelley teases exciting new projects outside company

WWE backstage interviewer Cathy Kelley teased upcoming projects outside the wrestling promotion during her recent appearance on B4theBell podcast.

Kelley, who returned to WWE in 2022 after a two-year hiatus, expressed enthusiasm about her future endeavors while maintaining her current role with the company.

“I have a couple of things outside of WWE that I’m very excited for, that I don’t know that I can share yet, but I will be posting them on my socials,” Kelley said, keeping details under wraps while encouraging fans to follow her social media for updates.

Kelley opens up about life-threatening dune buggy accident with Kevin Owens

During the same podcast appearance, Kelley shared details of a frightening incident in Saudi Arabia that occurred before Crown Jewel 2024. She revealed how a dune buggy excursion with Kevin Owens nearly ended in tragedy when their vehicle rolled multiple times in the desert.

“We rolled three and a half times in a dune buggy,” Kelley recounted, crediting Owens’ quick instincts for potentially saving her life. “He said his initial instinct was to protect me. I was holding onto a safety rail, he was right behind me. We could have gotten much more banged up than we did.”

The pair emerged from the accident relatively unharmed, with Kelley expressing gratitude for their fortunate escape. The incident took place just weeks before Owens became involved in storylines with Randy Orton and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
