Wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell shared his thoughts on Rhea Ripley’s new masked look during her RAW return. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s SmackTalk, Mantell commended both the visual presentation and the segment’s storyline progression toward Survivor Series.
“I liked her mask. The cover for the face. It gave her a different look too,” Mantell said. “I enjoyed this segment too, because at least it made sense. Even if you go back and put it together in context, it all makes sense.”
Ripley announced her participation in the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series during her return appearance. Mantell noted the segment’s effectiveness in building toward the premium live event, calling it “one of the better shows I’ve seen in like a month or two.”
Rhea Ripley makes impact on SmackDown after RAW return
Following her RAW appearance, Ripley emerged on SmackDown during a chaotic post-match scene. After Bayley and Naomi’s victory over Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae by disqualification, Nia Jax initiated an attack on the winners.
The situation escalated when IYO SKY attempted to help Bayley and Naomi, only for Raquel Rodriguez to join the heel faction. Ripley made her second appearance of the week, clearing the ring with a kendo stick to support the faces.
