After Shawn Michaels announced the signing of Yoshiki Inamura to WWE NXT, the Japanese star spoke about his arrival to the company on social media:
“I finally made it here!!! Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity. I’m going to keep pushing forward!!! Thank you!”
Inamura has been performing in the ring since 2018, primarily for Pro Wrestling NOAH, with stints in NJPW and Pro Wrestling Zero1. During his international career, he won the PROGRESS Atlas Championship by defeating Ricky Knight Jr. at PROGRESS Chapter 166, holding the title for 52 days before losing it to Axel Tischer at Super Strong Style 16.
His last match took place on September 28 against Gene Munny at NORTH Wrestling’s The World At Large.
